Lightest Double Stroller
If you're looking for a light double-stroller, the folded size and weight are important factors to consider. When not in use, pick a stroller that is simple to use and small in size. This will make it easier to store in your car trunk and navigate through airport gates and foreign roads.
The most lightweight strollers have a simple, easy fold that allows them to stand on their own. This eases the burden on the parent's body. Many strollers have various seating options, and some can accommodate infant car seats.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
The perfect product for families on the go. Lightweight and compact, with the ability to fold in one hand. The all-terrain wheels and front suspension, as well as the multi-position reclining seat, can be used for children up 50 pounds. The trays for parents and children and a large storage basket and 3-tiered extended canopy with windows that peek out at the sun provide maximum protection.
The Cloud received one of the lowest marks in our quality tests due to the fact that it has a thin seat, made of hard plastic, and a style that feels dated. It's also more expensive than other lightweight strollers. best twin buggy makes it a poor option for parents looking for the cheapest option.
It's not the most light stroller but it has enough features that it is worth considering. Its swiveling wheels make easy to move it around flat surfaces. best twin buggy can also jump curbs without much effort. The Cloud's low handle is a problem, however; it's nearly at knee height, and not adjustable. It's not easy to push it while your legs are hanging like that. And the absence of padding does not make it any easier.
In our tests, we discovered the Cloud to be easy to set up and open. It's a little more difficult to close the cloud, however. You must slide a slider before you press a large white button to cause it to collapse. It can be quite frustrating especially if you're trying to manage kids at the same time.
The Cloud comes with a compact, but deep storage basket. It can fit an enormous diaper bag. It's a little narrow, though it's likely that you'll need to put something in for the back to take it out. The Cloud includes an adult and child tray with two cup holders however, they're too narrow to accommodate larger bottles or cups.
Kolcraft is an established family business that has been in operation since 1946. They began by making crib pads and diapers, but now they manufacture various baby products, including highchairs and infant car seats. The company is based in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight is a lightweight double stroller with a minimalist design that's perfect for traveling. It weighs only 18lbs which is less than many single strollers. It folds flat, making it easy to transport and store. It also features independently reclined seats and large SPF 50 sunvisors with peekaboo window. The visors are adjustable to accommodate children of various heights. Plus, it has one-step linked parking brake that is Disney-sized approved.
The swivel wheel of the Jeep is also ideal for maneuvering over bumps and uneven terrain. This stroller does not accept car seats. Your child must be at minimum six months old and possess a strong neck control in order to ride on the front seat. It does come with an attractive, three-panel sun canopy, though and each seat comes with its own snack tray and parent cupholders.

Another extremely light side-by-side stroller is the Valco Baby Snap Trend. It's heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 lbs. However, it's smaller and smaller (26.5 inches wide!) It's packed with elegant details that make it perfect for travel. It folds easily and is very mobile. It is easily able to fit in overhead compartments as well as the trunks of planes.
Like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold ultralight double stroller. It's pretty comparable to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, however, it has a few key distinctions. It's more expensive, but has a better sun canopy and more maneuverability. It comes with a convenient carrying strap and can accommodate kids weighing up to 44 pounds per seat.
Summer 3D Pac CS+ for infants
If you're seeking a stroller which is light in weight but also packed with features look no further than Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It's not just light at just 13 pounds but also has plenty of storage in the form of child and parent cup holders, a child sippy-cup pocket and a parent storage pocket and more. This stroller can also fit a child's car seat and features a brake that flips. It's designed to grow with your kids from a baby stroller to a toddler stroller simply by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children 6 months old and up.
Another thing to consider about this stroller is that it operates on swivel wheels, and doesn't have any locking features therefore it may not be the best choice for rocky or hilly terrain. It maneuvers well on paved sidewalks and other smooth surfaces, though, so it's still a great choice for most families.
This stroller is among the most lightweight double strollers with full-size features in a sleek compact design. It can be folded in one hand and put away in the garage or trunk. It can be used as a stoller for travel and is compatible with no additional adapters to most car seats.
The Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is different from most strollers that are lightweight because it features two separate seats that can each support up to 100 lbs. The seats come with individual leg rests as well as 3-panel canopy that has an open-top sunvisor and a peekaboo window.
The seats are padded to ensure the comfort of your child. They also have five-point safety harnesses that can be adjusted to three different height positions. Each seat comes with a built-in infant cushion, which is ideal for babies. The cup holders for parents and child, the cellphone holder and the large storage basket will be adored by parents. The stroller comes with the Yoyo+ Board which transforms it into a tandem.
Joovy Kooper X2
The Kooper X2 is an excellent option for parents looking for a stroller that is light and can carry two children. The sling-style seats are comfy and offer a similar amount of headroom, which allows children to sit side-by-side. The Kooper X2 is unique in that it comes with a completely reclined seat, making it an ideal choice for nap time. Its recline feature is simple to use, but it's not really flat. Children who are taller may have legs hanging out when in the reclined position. It also comes with a large canopy, which we found to be better in blocking out sun than some other options in our best double strollers review.
The stroller is lightweight enough to be able to navigate through door frames. This was an important issue with other models we tested. It folds easily and the handlebars sit close to the ground. Its only flaw is its relatively small storage space, which can feel cramped when full of kid stuff.

In our tests in the lab, we look at multiple factors in order to assess the ease of use of a double stroller. This includes the ease with which it is possible to fold and set up, how to adjust the safety harness, and how to open and close the brakes. We also carry and lift the folded walkers as if they were being placed in a trunk and how to set up and remove a baby car seat if needed. We also looked at the strength and durability, as well as whether each product has a tray for parents that can be used by both children.
The Joovy Kooper X2 earned the top score for its ease of use in our latest update of our top double strollers guide, and also one of the top scores in our Strollers test program overall. Its easy-to use design includes one-hand, non-tilt recline and an enormous canopy with ventilation mesh that is visible even when it's tilted. There are also individual tray for kids, cup holders built-in and pockets with zippers for parents, and an enormous storage basket.
